Writing these scripts has taken a real toll on me, and I could use some help from a likeminded individual who isn't afraid to push the bounds of discourse. If that sounds like you, I'd love your help producing episodes for my show on YouTube — youtube.com/@atmoio.
Pick a current news event in AI and write an editorial about it that is funny, punchy, and profound, with deep opinions. Don't hedge — take a real stance.
Send an email to writing@mo.io with a brief intro about yourself and a transcript of a full episode you've written, between 1,000 and 1,400 words. If you have a blog or any other writing samples, please share those too.
Use AI or don't — it doesn't matter to me. I'll judge the work on its own merit, not on how it was made. If you do use AI, please turn in your prompt log along with the transcript. You'll also be measured on how well you smooth AI text to sound human — I'd love to see how you take an AI output and reshape it into your own words. There has to be an element of voice.
Writing that carries the same spirit as the current videos: punchy and funny. It helps to watch a few episodes first to get a feel for the tone.
The pay is negotiable, and I'm open to discussing what works best for both of us.
I'll read every entry, and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to write one. Depending on volume, I may only be able to respond to the person I end up working with — if you don't hear back, it isn't a reflection of your work.
Thank you!
